01 Scope & consent
This Privacy Policy applies to every person who registers, browses, or transacts on the PAN MITRA platform (the “Service”). By creating an account, completing KYC, or loading your wallet, you agree to the practices described here.
If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not register or use the Service. We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
02 Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to verify your identity, process PAN applications, and operate your wallet. This includes:
- Identity details — full name, date of birth, gender, and parent/guardian name as required for a PAN application.
- KYC documents — Aadhaar number, PAN, address proof, and photographs you upload for verification.
- Contact details — mobile number, email address, and residential address.
- Account & transaction data — wallet balance, load history, payment references, and service requests.
- Technical data — device type, IP address, and usage logs, used to keep the Service secure.
03 KYC & verification
Completing KYC (Know Your Customer) is mandatory before you can use PAN MITRA services. Your account stays in a pending state until your KYC is reviewed.
- Every user must submit valid KYC documents, and access to services is granted only after KYC approval.
- We verify the documents you provide against authorised government and partner sources to confirm authenticity.
- If your KYC is incomplete, mismatched, or appears tampered, approval may be delayed or declined.
04 Wallet & payments
PAN MITRA offers an in-app wallet and an integrated payment gateway so you can load funds and pay for services instantly.
- Wallet loads and payments are processed through licensed third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking password.
- Payment data is transmitted directly to the gateway over an encrypted connection; we receive only a transaction status and reference.
- Wallet funds may be used solely for PAN MITRA services and are subject to these terms.
05 Registration charges
Registration on PAN MITRA may carry a one-time or recurring charge, shown clearly to you before you confirm payment. This charge covers account setup, KYC processing, and access to the Service.
- The applicable amount is displayed on the registration screen at the time of sign-up.
- Charges are debited only after you review and confirm the payment.
- Taxes, if any, are charged as per applicable law.
06 Refund policy
Refunds, where applicable, are processed back to your original payment method after review. However, the following condition applies without exception:
No refund will be issued for any account involved in fraudulent activity, misuse of the Service, or violation of these terms. Amounts already charged for such accounts are non-refundable.
Successfully completed services and government/statutory fees paid on your behalf are also non-refundable.
07 Fraud & account termination
We take the integrity of the platform seriously. To protect all users, PAN MITRA monitors for suspicious and fraudulent behaviour.
- Submitting forged documents, impersonating another person, or using the wallet for unlawful transactions is strictly prohibited.
- If fraudulent activity is detected, your account may be terminated without prior notice and access permanently revoked.
- Terminated accounts are not eligible for refunds, and we may report the activity to the relevant authorities.
Account termination for fraud may occur without prior information. Please ensure all the details and documents you submit are genuine and belong to you.
08 Data security & encryption
Protecting your personal and KYC data is central to how PAN MITRA is built.
- All user and customer KYC data is encrypted before it is transmitted and while stored.
- Data travels over secure HTTPS/TLS connections, so it cannot be read in transit.
- Access to KYC records is restricted to authorised personnel and systems on a need-to-know basis.
- We apply industry-standard safeguards, though no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
